Giota Stylou is a graduate of the Psychology Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds a Master degree in Developmental and Educational Psychology. She has attended seminars, such as cognitive analytic and systemic psychotherapy, and is qualified in Group Psychotherapy from the Medical Psychotherapy Center of Thessaloniki. She has developed a multifaceted professional activity in private and public sector in Greece and Cyprus (eg schools, social support centers, development agencies, Cyprus Youth Organization, etc.).
Moreover, she has extensive experience in planning and co-ordinating experiential workshops for adults and children/adolescents. In her postgraduate studies, she has been trained in planning and implementing prevention and intervention programs for children/adolescents of formal and non-formal development. During this period she collaborates with the Cyprus University of Technology and works privately in Limassol at the Personal Development and Self Awareness Centre GIA TIN ITHAKI.
Her interest and love for arts led her to explore the coexistence of psychology with various expressive means. In this context, she has attended seminars of Cinema Therapy, Photo Therapy and Expressive Writing. She has been licensed to practice in Greece since 2002, while in Cyprus she is registered in the specialty of Educational Psychology.
