

Christina Petrou is a Registered School/Educational Psychologist in Cyprus (Reg. No. 1082). She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Master’s Degree in School Psychology from the University of Nicosia.
Through her supervised practicum, she has gained experience across a range of settings, including schools, kindergartens, and multidisciplinary support centers. She has experience in psychological assessment and the implementation of individualized interventions for children and adolescents, as well as in providing counseling to parents and educators. In addition, she has designed and facilitated experiential workshops for children and parents, focusing on the development of emotional and social skills, self-regulation, and the enhancement of parenting skills.
She works with children, families, and educators to support emotional, behavioral, and learning needs. Her approach is integrative, drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), systemic, and solution-focused approaches, depending on the needs of each child and family. Her work is grounded in empathy and evidence-based practices, within a safe and supportive environment that fosters the development of trusting relationships.
Her goal is to support the holistic development of each child and help them reach their full potential. She is committed to continuous professional development and regularly attends seminars and training programs to further enhance her knowledge and professional skills.
