

Despina Parlata is an experienced mental health professional specializing in Systemic Psychotherapy. The areas in which she is active include adult psychotherapy, family therapy, couples therapy, parental counseling, as well as child and adolescent psychotherapy.
Despina’s education includes a four-year program in Systemic Family Therapy and Couples Therapy from the Systemic Institute of Cyprus, a one-year program in Parent Counseling and a two-year program in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy.
Despina also holds a degree in Sociology from the University of Cyprus, which gives her a deeper understanding of the social dynamics that affect mental health.
In addition to her extensive education, Despina is a strong advocate of lifelong learning, constantly attending seminars and training programs to enrich her knowledge and skills in the areas of her interest.
Her approach to systemic psychotherapy combines an understanding of family and social systems with the principles of psychological therapy, which allows her to provide comprehensive and sensitive support to her clients.
