About Dimitra Savva
Clinical Psychologist
Dimitra Savva is a Clinical Psychologist with an academic background from top universities abroad. She completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology at the University of Essex and continued with a master’s degree in Research Psychology at the same institution. She then specialized in Clinical Psychology, earning a second master’s degree from Leiden University in the Netherlands, focusing on Clinical Psychology and Health Psychology.
She has trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and holds a Level 1 certification in Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). Additionally, she continues to expand her knowledge and skills through specialized training programs and seminars.
She is also certified in the administration and interpretation of the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children – Fifth Edition (WISC-V), one of the most valid and reliable psychometric tools for assessing children’s cognitive abilities.
Her clinical experience includes internships in a wide range of settings, such as the humanitarian organization Hope for Children, the Menogeia detention center, the Kofinou reception centers, and the Athalassa Psychiatric Hospital. These experiences have provided her with valuable expertise in mental health care for children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs.
Her goal is to provide high-quality psychological services to adults, adolescents, and children using evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each individual’s unique needs.
