Sexuality Counseling is addressed to couples, women, men, and LGBTQ+ individuals who wish to gain a deeper understanding of their relationship with their body, desire, intimacy, and connection with their partner or themselves. It is a modern, scientifically grounded process that respects the uniqueness of each person and does not impose “norms” or “standards.”
Sexuality is a fundamental part of mental health and is influenced by emotional state, life experiences, relationships, the body, and the social messages we have internalized.
Sexual desire & pleasure:
Low or reduced desire, desire discrepancies within the couple, difficulty with arousal or orgasm, loss of pleasure due to anxiety, stress, or life changes.
Sexual difficulties:
Pain during sexual intercourse, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, difficulty achieving orgasm, or other psychogenic sexual issues.
Relationship with the body:
Shame, guilt, negative body image, difficulty with exposure or touch, changes due to pregnancy, menopause, illness, or age.
Relationships & communication:
Communication of desires, boundaries, and needs, emotional and physical distance, jealousy, infidelity, renegotiation of the relationship.
Gender identity & sexual orientation:
Identity exploration, self-acceptance, coming out, internalized shame or fear, social pressures.
Sexual trauma:
Experiences of violation or abuse, difficulty with trust, avoidance, disconnection from the body, reconnection with a sense of safety and choice.
Counseling takes place in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental framework, with absolute respect for:
The approach combines psychoeducation, strengthening the body–emotion connection, and improving communication and intimacy.
The goal is not “correction,” but:
Sexuality counseling concerns all people, at every stage of life and in every form of relationship.
